Facebook product to be used

Hello,

Should we use "Closed Source Facebook Platform Products" or "Open Source Tools" or both ?

  Hey Amit!

  Good question. The tools you use are up to you. You're required to use at least one of the tools listed on the homepage. That being said, if you use Open Source tools you are eligible for the "Best Open Source App" in the category you submitted to. The submission form will ask you to check off any of the tools you used.

  Remember that how well you leveraged the Facebook products is a judging criteria so if you can use more of the products in an interesting way you may score higher on that criterion.

  Hi Amit,

  Want to make sure you understand that to be eligible for any prize OTHER than the Best Open Source App prize, your application must use at least one of these tools: Login, Account Kit, Analytics, Messenger.

  To be eligible for the Best Open Source App prizes, your application must be made open source AND use at least one of these: React, React Native, React VR, Caffe2, Fresco, Litho, ComponentKit Yoga, GraphQL, Relay. Include a link to your open repo.

  You may use tools from both categories, but in order to be eligible for the open source prize, your application must be made open source.
